Homecoming at Home
Homecoming is always one of our favorite times of the year. It’s time for our Illini family—students and alumni, faculty and staff, the Champaign-Urbana community—to come together and celebrate all that makes Illinois so special. And while we can’t meet up with friends in the Quad, hit up our favorite spots on Green Street or tailgate outside of Memorial Stadium, we’re still Stronger Together in Orange and Blue. That’s why we’re bringing the homecoming festivities right to your door, with Homecoming at Home, a week of virtual events leading up to the Illinois vs. Iowa game on December 5th.
Join us for the traditional fountain dyeing or virtually tour campus to see what’s new. Reminisce with current students and alumni as we share memories, and plan your at-home tailgate menu with recipes from notable Illi. And to help make this year even more unforgettable, we have a very special guest star providing the halftime show on game day—U of I legend Kevin Cronin of REO Speedwagon! We’ll post new exclusive content and virtual events everyday this week, so be sure to check back daily so you don’t miss a moment of the fun.
