Game Day is finally here! Kick-off is at 2:30pm, so be sure to tune in to the Second Screen Experience for an enhanced way to watch our Fighting Illini take on Iowa. You’ll get a live look inside the radio booth, watch special interviews, participate in virtual game-day experiences and have opportunities to win prizes. It’s also the only place to watch our special Homecoming halftime show with Kevin Cronin of REO Speedwagon. Join U of I legend Kevin Cronin of REO Speedwagon for a can’t-miss Homecoming Halftime Show, where he’ll play some of your favorites while sharing stories about how REO Speedwagon went from “a little old bar band from Champaign, Illinois, to being the biggest little bar band in America.” The show will be airing on the Second Screen Experience during halftime, so be sure to have it queued up so you don’t miss a moment!
Spotlight: U of I’s Own Riggs Beer Company
Alumni Darin Riggs (’03) walks us through local favorite Riggs Beer Company, which he co-founded with his brother Matt Riggs (’06), and shares the special connection this brewery has to the university and the Champaign-Urbana community as a whole.
